Judge Mike Faulk has filed his petition with the election commission in all four counties of the Third Judicial District to seek the Republican nomination for Circuit Court Judge, Part III. The Third Judicial District consists of Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins and Greene counties.
“I’m humbled by the governor’s appointment to replace Judge Lawson and I look forward to serving a full term in this job,” Faulk said. “From the day I started this job, I’ve prayed for the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job and the heart of David. If I’m elected to continue as judge, that will be my ongoing prayer.”
Mike Faulk is an eighth generation Hawkins countian who practiced law 33 years before his appointment to the bench last July. Faulk is a former Tennessee state senator, juvenile court referee and vice-chairman of the Tennessee Human Rights Commission.
